How to Use Golf4

Use this optional guide whenever you want a quick reminder. Your game data is stored on this device and browser.

Quick Start

  1. Setup: Select the course, date and players, then choose Game Modes and participation.
  2. Statistics: Optionally enable statistics for selected players and choose FIR, GIR, Putts, bunkers, Up & Down, Sand Save and detailed Penalty types.
  3. Par & H/C: Review the table at the bottom of Setup. Hide it if you do not need it.
  4. Handicap: Select Edit Handicap, enter Take values by hole, then select Save / Lock Handicap before opening Score or Result.
  5. Score: Enter strokes normally; tap a statistics cell to select its value.
  6. Result: Use Result for game results, Performance for filtered graphics, and Insights for rule-based coaching compared with your own earlier rounds.

Useful Tips

  • Statistics are optional and never change Score, Handicap or Points.
  • Penalty statistics describe penalty strokes already included in the gross Score.
  • Tap a Player field to select a saved name, or type a new player name directly.
  • Handicap values are Take Only: 0, 1 or 2 strokes per hole.
  • Statistics use a short tap; handicap choices also support a 0.8-second long press.
  • Use View Saved Rounds to open an earlier game. Saved data remains on this device unless browser data is cleared.
  • Add Golf4 to your Home Screen from Chrome on Android or Safari on iPhone.
